French reunion at Alpine
The 2023 driver lineup is forming up as Alpine completed their team after signing up Frenchman Pierre Gasly.

Gasly was expected to be announced as an Alpine driver in the coming days, although he and the team continued to decline to comment on the subject.
However, Fabrizio Romano, the famous journalist for confirming football transfer news has confirmed Gasly has signed with Alpine.
The twitter statement is as follows
Pierre Gasly will join BWT Alpine F1 Team from Alpha Tauri from the end of the season.
Personal terms all signed, and an official announcement is expected in the coming hours. 🔟
The Alpine team has replied to the tweet, further confirming the deal.
This move means Alpine will have Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly, all French driver lineup. It will help the French team more in terms of popularity and national sponsors. However, Ocon and Gasly had some cold relation in the past, but we don’t think it will affect them in future.
It is not surprising that Gasly wanted to switch team. He had already spent a good amount of time at Alpha Tauri. After recovering mentally from the Red Bull debacle, it became clear that he was meant to be more than the number one driver of an unbalanced midfield team.
Alpha Tauri, Williams and Haas are now left to announce their remaining drivers.
