Guenther Steiner: if you copy something, you copy the best you can
Haas says there should be nothing surprising in the fact that the update of the Hungarian Formula 1 Grand Prix is a new copy of Ferrari

At the Hungarian Grand Prix, the Haas team brought an updated car, which was already dubbed the "white Ferrari" in the paddock for its suspicious resemblance to the Ferrari car.
The head of Haas, Guenther Steiner, did not deny that his engineers were guided by the F1-75.
Guenther Steiner: "I will say that we were quite inspired by their concept. But what's wrong with that? If someone says that we copied the car, I will answer: "Why should we copy Williams?" I don't want to sound disrespectful, but they have a completely different concept, and their car is slower than ours.
If you copy, then copy the best, and now the best are Ferrari and Red Bull. We use the Ferrari engine, gearbox and suspension, and they win races. Why should we copy others? One plus one always gives two.
I expect our car to be fast. I hope the telemetry data will confirm our expectations. In Hungary, we will be able to compare the updated and the previous car. If the data shows that we made the right choice, then everything will come down to finding the right settings”.
