Red Bull and FIA have suspended negotiations on a fine for violating financial regulations in 2021
Red Bull and the International Automobile Federation (FIA) have suspended negotiations on a fine for violating financial regulations in 2021 in connection with the death of the company's owner Dietrich Mateschitz, the team reports.
Red Bull: «Due to the death of Mr. Mateschitz, all negotiations with the FIA on the marginal budget and further decisions have been suspended until further notice. The deadline for the contract has been postponed, and we expect that negotiations will resume in the middle of the week».
Earlier it was reported that Red Bull was offered a deal according to which the team will pay a monetary fine, and in the 2023 season, the working time with the air tube will be reduced by 25%. Red Bull rejected such an offer, and team manager Christian Horner assured that there would be no secret deal with the FIA.
