Verstappen dominates Spanish GP as Mercedes takes 2-3
Max gets his 3rd Grand Slam in Barcellona while Mercedes upgrades seem to be working pretty well which will help them in the battle for 2nd place in WCC.

Verstappen seems unstoppable
The Dutch driver had to defend against an attack from Carlos Sainz in Turn1, which he came out on top and went to lead every lap from start to finish.
Mercedes's newly upgraded W14 was superior against Ferrari and Aston Martin and Helped them bring home their first double podium since Brazil last year.
Sergio Perez who started from 11th on the grid was trying to catch George Russel by the end of the race with a newer set of tires and just ran out of time and finished fourth. Carlos Sainz finished 5th in front of his hometown fans after starting the race from 2nd on the grid.
Stroll beats Alonso
Aston Martin didn't have an ideal weekend. after a mistake in qualifying from Fernando which damaged his floor and lost performance of his car, it was no better in the race and their race pace was slightly slower than their main rival. Lance Stroll finished sixth just ahead of Fernando Alonso in 7th place. having been ahead of his teammate throughout. Alonso got up to Stroll at the end but made it clear on the team radio that he had no intention of challenging his teammate for the higher place.
Alpine's Esteban Ocon finished eighth but was engaged in a collision with Alonso as the Aston was overtaking, defending late on the approach to Turn 1 as the Spaniard squeezed by. He finished ahead of Zhou Guanyu and Pierre Gasly.
The stewards did look briefly at a collision at Turn 2 between Yuki Tsunoda and Zhou, which resulted in the AlphaTauri driver receiving a five-second time penalty, dropping him from ninth to 12th in the standings.
